Reactive Graphics History at ICC in Tokyo

As a precursor to the dynamic graphics boom fueled by the web, a series of visual experiments were performed by John Maeda as a means to deconstruct common notions of the desktop computer's possibilities. A comprehensive exhibition on the entire works of John Maeda was held in Tokyo from August 10-October 21, 2001 at the NTT InterCommunication Center in a solo show curated by Mr. Shoji Itoh. An excerpt of those works is provided here as a download for the 1st time.

The exhibition space is visible as a QuickTime movie [here].
